DAXX Audio Integrity System

Technical Foundation

The DAXX Audio Integrity System was developed to make the Fallout GroundZero global-band model technically practical.

Fallout GroundZero was developed by LNK-Records approximately three years ago with a specific goal: to create the world's first truly global band. The concept removes the traditional geographical limitations of a band by allowing musicians to contribute to the same production from different countries and locations.

DAXX provides the technical environment that makes this possible.

Instead of requiring every musician to be physically present in the same studio, individual musical contributions can be handled as separate audio stems. Each participating artist can upload an individual stem, work remotely from another country, record a live contribution through the DAXX environment where enabled, monitor their individual channel and contribute directly to the central production workflow.

The physical location of the musician is therefore separated from the technical location of the production.

This is one of the fundamental principles behind the Fallout GroundZero global-band concept:

One band. Multiple countries. One production environment.


The DAXX Audio Workbench

DAXX operates as a central audio workbench containing individual production channels and a master recording environment.

Each channel can be independently managed through channel-level gain and stereo pan controls, playback, mute and solo functions. The system also provides master processing, monitoring and recording capabilities, allowing individual contributions to be combined into a finished production.

The architecture is designed around individual stems rather than requiring every contributor to work from one physical recording location.

A vocalist can therefore record from one country, a guitarist from another, a keyboard player from another location and additional contributors from elsewhere, while their individual recordings can still become components of the same production.

DAXX effectively creates a shared technical production environment without requiring a shared physical studio.


Remote Live Recording

DAXX also provides dedicated live-input functionality for selected vocal channels.

When a participating vocalist activates a live recording session, the microphone input is connected directly into the appropriate channel's audio processing path. The vocalist can perform remotely while the master recording environment captures the contribution.

The interface provides dedicated session indicators so that the production operator can immediately see the operational state of the relevant channel.

This allows the sound engineer to distinguish between production material that has already been loaded and an active live recording session.

The result is a production workflow in which musicians can participate live without needing to be physically present beside the sound engineer.


Dual Tone Recording Integrity

A central component of the DAXX Audio Integrity workflow is the Dual Tone system.

During recording, DAXX can automatically introduce its Dual Tone reference signal into the recording destination. The tone is generated separately from the normal monitoring path and is not intended to be reproduced through the speakers.

The Dual Tone therefore becomes part of the recording destination rather than part of the normal listening experience.

Within the DAXX workflow, this provides an additional technical reference layer associated with the recorded production.

The system is specifically designed so that the Dual Tone is automatically included during the recording process, allowing the resulting production to retain this additional integrity reference.


Blockchain Security Timestamp

The Dual Tone is part of the broader Blockchain Audio Security architecture developed around the Fallout GroundZero production workflow.

During recording, DAXX automatically incorporates the Dual Tone security layer into the recorded output. This forms the audio component of the Blockchain Security Timestamp process.

The recorded material can be associated with a cryptographic fingerprint and relevant production metadata. The purpose of this process is to create a technical relationship between the recorded audio, its identity and the production event in which it was created.

The Blockchain Security Timestamp is therefore designed to provide more than a conventional file timestamp. It forms part of an integrity framework connecting the recorded material with a cryptographic record of the production event.

The security information is carried through the recording workflow and is associated with the final production exported by the system.

This creates an additional layer of traceability around the recorded material and the point at which that material entered the production workflow.


Cryptographic Audio Identity

Audio files themselves can be large and complex digital objects. For security and verification purposes, a cryptographic fingerprint can instead be generated from the recorded material.

A cryptographic hash produces a unique digital representation of the data being processed. If the underlying data changes, the resulting cryptographic fingerprint changes as well.

Within the proposed DAXX security architecture, this fingerprint can be associated with production metadata and the recording event.

The objective is to create a verifiable relationship between:

the artist → the recording → the stem → the production event → the final output.

This forms the foundation of the Blockchain Security Timestamp concept.


Securing the Creative Chain

The global-band model creates a particular technical challenge: a production can contain contributions created by multiple musicians in multiple countries.

DAXX addresses this by maintaining individual contributions as identifiable audio stems within a controlled production environment.

A vocal recording remains a vocal stem. A guitar recording remains a guitar stem. Keyboard, percussion, bass, effects and other contributions can remain independently identifiable before being integrated into the final production.

The integrity workflow adds another layer to this process by associating the recording with its technical security information.

This creates a structured creative chain from the original contribution through to the completed production.


From Recording to Final Production

The DAXX workflow brings these components together.

An artist contributes an individual recording or participates through a supported live session. The audio enters the appropriate DAXX channel and becomes part of the central production environment.

During master recording, the Dual Tone security layer can automatically be incorporated into the recording destination. The resulting production is then captured and exported through the DAXX recording workflow.

The sound engineer receives the resulting end production as the completed recorded output.

The purpose is to ensure that the technical production workflow and the audio-integrity workflow operate together rather than as separate processes.


A Global Production Environment

The importance of DAXX goes beyond recording technology.

The system provides the technical infrastructure required for Fallout GroundZero to operate according to its original global-band concept.

Musicians do not have to live in the same country. They do not have to record in the same physical studio. They can contribute individually, collaborate remotely and, where enabled, participate in live recording sessions while the production itself remains coordinated through one central technical environment.

This allows the band to function internationally without making geographical distance the defining limitation of the creative process.

The result is a production model built around a simple principle:
